Adoration Shindigs

Adoration + Shindig is a completely free, all-ages community event designed to bring family, friends, and neighbors together on a beautiful fall (usually) evening. Hosted by Rural Outreach and NEKRYC (the NEK Rural Youth Council), this unique gathering is simple, repeatable and honors the beauty of rural life.

Pray with our musicians as we worship the Lord in Adoration under the sky, then join us by the fire pit to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. The music shifts to celebration as we join in the dance floor under the strings of lights. Shindigs operate rain or shine so the community can gather regardless of the weather. Just bring a few personal essentials—like a lawn chair or blanket, a jacket for cooler evening temperatures, and bug spray—to fully settle in and enjoy the evening. We’ll provide location updates on the event website in the event of unfavorable outdoor weather or you can always reach the event coordinator at 785.221.2644
